Many fragrances have the power to do more than just make you smell good, but fewer still can instill confidence. Roberto Cavalli‘s latest fragrances, the new Deep Desire editions of Signature and Uomo, aim to address this. Roberto Cavalli Deep Desire was entrusted to Louise Turner of Givaudan, the designer of the original Signature perfume, and Christophe Raynaud of Firmenich, creator of the original Uomo fragrance.

Turner’s Signature is an oriental floral fragrance boasting a sizzling blend of pink peppercorn and mandarin. At the heart, Sambac jasmine and orange blossom further magnify the sweet floral notes of the fragrance which are treated with rich cocoa beans, patchouli, and vanilla at the base of the perfume. With a clever mix of spice and citrus which fades into a white floral bouquet, the versatile scent and its rich burgundy bottle can find its place on the dressers of many.

The Deep Desire Uomo is an oriental spicy fragrance; like its feminine counterpart, it too features pepper and mandarin. However, instead of pink peppercorn, perfumer Raynaud used a more masculine pepper essence to add a layer of intensity to the spicy-citrusy contrast. The heart of the fragrance builds on its spiciness through a mix of saffron and cinnamon, with unexpected hints of sweet tuberose. Enclosed in a warm chocolate-colored bottle, powerful woody notes of golden cedarwood and cashmere lie at the base of the scent.
Deep Desire is a limited-edition fragrance that brings together the Signature and Uomo lines of the Italian fashion house. Both sensuous and fierce in nature, the duo of fragrances pay tribute to the magnetic attraction and total communication between souls.
The Deep Desire duo is now available at Namshi.
