The wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Saudi architect Rajwa Al-Saif was a masterclass in elegant beauty, with inspired brides-to-be across the region taking careful notes. With some of the biggest Arab names in makeup artistry in Amman for the exciting event, an A-lister glam squad rumored to include Jordanian beauty guru Hindash may be behind the scenes for the wedding of the year.

The beautiful bride, now known as Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, paired her stunning Elie Saab wedding gown with an elevated natural makeup look. Choosing a matte foundation base – ideal for long-lasting wear during the wedding events – Princess Rajwa’s contour was soft and natural, celebrating her delicate features and feminine beauty. For a romantic wedding lip look, a pinky-nude lip shade was used, with a modern satin finish. She chose a pretty rose pink shade for her blush, swept over the apples of her cheeks for that bridal glow.

For Princess Rajwa’s eyeshadow look, a palette of browns was used to create an eye-enhancing contour, blended up to the crease. A slight flick of classic black kohl added definition to the newlywed’s rich brown eyes. The bride’s naturally full brows were shaped with a soft arch. Parted in the center, the new royal’s hair fell softly in loose curls, tucked behind her ears and secured with her incredible diamond tiara. Her bridal veil was pinned over her hair, flowing over the lengths and down her back.

Celebrated widely for her innate style and elegance, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan also chose a chic beauty look for her role as Al-Saif’s new mother-in-law and the proud mother of the groom. Glowing with pride in a black Dior dress, the royal’s natural beauty was paired with an illuminating foundation, and a peachy blush blended up to her cheekbones. For her lips, HRH Queen Rania opted for a warm pink-brown lipstick, with a hint of shine completing the classic look. The Jordanian royal’s eye look was perfect for the daytime wedding event, with an artfully blended soft smoky eye paired with her enviable eyebrows. Her glossy hair was softly gathered in a chic chignon, with a few loose pieces of hair brushed to the side to frame her face.
