Pat McGrath is a beauty legend. A self-made billionaire, her namesake line of makeup has smashed records and sold out countless times. From iconic eyeshadow palettes to luxurious lipsticks her fans are loyal and ever on the up. There was only thing missing. The base for these products. A foundation line. Never one to disappoint McGrath has just announced the launch of her Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection: The System collection. Featuring a Sublime Perfection Primer, Foundation and Setting Powder, it’s time to mark July 26 in your diary for when it’s set to drop.
Garnering the most attention is the foundation. McGrath has always been a leader in the fight for beauty inclusivity, so with over 25 years of experience and six years of product development, it arrives in 36 shades. Having worked with models of all ethnicities her experience is priceless. A light to medium finish, it has been designed to be buildable meaning you can achieve full coverage too. The serum-like texture also includes a vita-serum complex which helps kick start your skins natural hyaluronic acid production. Retailing at $68 it’s an investment worth making.
Alongside the foundation, McGrath also releases her universal one-shade primer ($60) and her setting powder ($55) which arrives in five different shades. The former offers a blurred effect with added luminosity whilst the latter mutes shine without compromising on showcasing the skins natural texture. Although the foundation can be applied with your hands she has also created a foundation brush ($55) and powder brush ($58) to complete the collection. The collection is cruelty-free, vegan and created out of fair-trade materials. A trio, other brands need to be taking note of.
