Moroccan-British model Nora Attal has landed her very first Chanel Beauty campaign promoting the French maison’s holiday collection.

The campaign was shot and directed by London-based photographer Thurstan Redding and sees a spotlighted Attal modeling some of Chanel’s best-loved beauty products; including the Sublimage L’essence Fondementale serum, followed by the application of the four-shade eyeshadow palette, mascara, blush, and lipstick.

The former Vogue Arabia cover star‘s latest role for Chanel is just one in her long list of career achievements, having frequently walked the runway for both Chanel and Dior. The 21-year-old had previously told Vogue Arabia, in her December 2017 cover story interview, that walking for Chanel would be a dream come true. Now, it seems that both Attal and Chanel are forming a formidable partnership with the model having already served as the face of the famed brand when she starred in the fashion house’s Spring 2019 campaign.

Attal was first discovered when she was 16, as the “mystery girl” with the enviable eyebrows who appeared in the JW Anderson SS14 campaign. Since then, she has graced the cover of Vogue Arabia three times, including her first solo Vogue cover in December 2017, showcasing not just her beauty and modeling talent, but more importantly her kind and compelling nature.

Most recently, Attal was featured on the cover of Vogue Arabia’s May 2020 issue, alongside fellows models Imaan HammamEva Herzigová, and Constance Jablonski. Here, Attal reflected on initially feeling grateful for the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, as it gave her time to enjoy a slower pace of life. “I was used to flying at least once a week, and meeting lots of people during shoots. Being in quarantine is a completely different world,” she explained. “I try to have a plan for each day so that I don’t get restless. It’s hard but I’m getting better.”

Despite the challenging year, Attal appears to have experienced some of the greatest moments in her life. In addition to her first Chanel beauty campaign, the model recently announced her engagement to cinematographer Victor Bastidas, on Instagram in October.
