No, Khloe Kardashian Did Not Get a Nose Job—But She Might

Khloe Kardashian wants you to know that she did not get any sort of surgical procedure to enhance the shape of her nose. She simply possesses expert contouring skills. The new mom to baby True took to Instagram to address floating rumors that she had permanently altered her nose after sharing a picture of herself perched on a porch stoop, sporting an immaculate face of makeup. The photo led some fans to speculate if Kardashian decided to undergo rhinoplasty. In response to the comments, the 34-year-old shut down rumors that she has gone under the knife, but revealed that she might do so in the future. “One day I think I’ll get one because I think about it every day. But I’m scared so for now it’s all about contour,” she wrote.

Her fear isn’t totally unwarranted. Rhinoplasty, which is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the world, and the most sought-out in the region, is done like so: A doctor peels off a layer of skin from your face, takes a chisel to your nose, fractures your bone in half, then re-shapes what is left of it. Doesn’t sound very pleasant, does it? Fortunately, thanks to advances in technology, there are less invasive ways to achieve your ideal nose, such as a non-surgical nose job, which is done by adding dermal fillers to the bridge of the nose to soften bumps or add volume. You can also take a cue from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and play with the shape of your nose using makeup. After all, a Marc Jacobs beauty compact is less painful than a bulky bandage across your face.

Kardashian also revealed that her nose spread during pregnancy (note: nose swelling during pregnancy can be caused by increased estrogen levels), and that she’s “waiting for it to go back.” So there you have it– Khloe didn’t get her nose done, but she’s not totally opposed to the idea either.
