The fragrance we choose to wear is highly personal – and the bottle itself can even be an objet d’art on our dressing tables. Cue your Vogue introduction to Tiffany’s latest perfume.

Tiffany & Co. unveiled its first new fragrance in more than a decade during New York Fashion Week, accompanied by a new ad campaign shot by Steven Meisel and starring models Vittoria Ceretti, Julia Nobis, Achok Majak, and Georgina Grenville. Tiffany is a sparkling floral musk scent, the brainchild of award-winning perfumer Daniela Andrier of Givaudan. Appropriately, Andrier drew inspiration from New York, where the brand was founded in 1837. “͞There is something romantic in the brand. I chose the part that I am the most touched by – the romantic, the joyful, the promise, and also the elegance,” she says.

Andrier designed Tiffany Eau de Parfum to capture both the essence of the brand’s jewelry and the woman who loves wearing it. “If I had a precise vision of a woman wearing Tiffany Eau de Parfum, it would be any modern woman who loves diamonds,” Andrier explains. In creating the scent, the perfumer was tasked with incorporating ingredients that have never been used before in a Tiffany fragrance, including mandarin, iris, patchouli, and musk. The result is an olfactory balance of floral and musky notes. Jasmin and mandarin are at the surface, while patchouli and musk linger as the base notes. At the center of the scent is iris accords, which the perfumer describes as the “diamond of perfumes” due to its rare and precious qualities. The flower has also been a recurring theme at the heart of Tiffany’s designs throughout the years (think: the Tiffany Iris brooch).

As for the bottle: its precise cuts and geometric corners evoke the look of a classic Tiffany diamond, and it comes packaged in the distinct robin’s egg blue coffret gift box, made for displaying proudly on your dressing table.

Tiffany & Co. Eau de Parfum retails for AED 550, and can be purchased online at www.wojooh.com.
