Taking home shopping to its most literal incarnation, Net-a-Porter has just announced the launch of its new and completely digital beauty festival, The Beauty of You. In a first for the e-commerce platform, Net-a-Porter is describing the now annual event as “democratizing access to the world’s most renowned beauty experts,” running from January 11-25, across all Net-a-Porter digital channels.

Featuring the world’s brightest beauty brands, plus a massive roll-call of industry experts, including Miranda Kerr, Tata Harper, Dr Barbara Sturm, Charlotte Mensah and Sarah Chapman, the digital beauty festival will host a combination of makeup tutorials, live events, and expert panels for a true beauty insider experience.
Taking a multi-platform approach, Net-a-Porter will be dropping exclusive interactive content across Instagram Live, Reels and TikTok for the duration of the two-week run. The beauty festival will also highlight its shoppable IGTV social franchise ‘Call the Expert’. Felt spendy over lockdown? That could be paying off soon, with the site’s top VIP clientele and brand friends also privy to special one-off private events.

The festival’s event schedule will be divided into four separate parts, each addressing a key sub-sector for luxury beauty. Color and Trends, Wellbeing, Spa-at-Home, and Skin will all introduce their own dedicated social sessions for the latest in each category, with experts sharing beauty tips and tricks, methods for relaxation and mindfulness, and a special focus on embracing self-care.
