The Best Nail Trends that Took 2019 by Storm

Instagram/@nailsbymei

Nail art has certainly come a long way with celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa, and Bella Hadid been constantly flaunting their new sets of acrylics on their social media throughout the year. The runways too saw phenomenal new themes of nail art and chic manicures at fashion shows like the New York Fashion Week Fall 2019 – where models at designer Prabal Gurung‘s show wore nail trims with a negative space in a berry color, and Paris Hilton walked The Blonds runway with an unobtrusive nail trim where she showed off her classic french tips with precious white crystals on the lunula.

This year’s most popular designs were daring while being classy with added accessories on new color combinations and patterns. It is safe to say that the usual hues got swapped out with bold and metallic, and zig-zag patterns transformed into 3D plates.  Since the year 2019 shone a spotlight on the most creative side of an industry which has previously been overlooked, here’s a list of the styles which trended all year long.
