When it comes to everyday hair styling it can often be hard to find inspiration. Sticking to hair down or a high pony is so many women’s go-to with hair accessories taking a back seat. A celebrity hair colorist to the likes of Bette Midler and Prince in the 90s, now turned fine jewelry designer Deborah Pagani wanted to attract women away from just sticking to black hair elastics. Developing a line of accessories that were both stylish and functional she created Hair Objet. Modern and undeniably chic the collection comprises of cuffs, clips, and pins they can transform any hairstyle. Here Pagani shares her top tips.
The Side Swept

I designed my Chain Clips with a side-swept look in mind. It’s an easily achieved glamourous style that has stood the test of time. I think of icons of past and present like Lauren Bacall, Cindy Crawford, Madonna, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and even I’ve worn my hair this way since I was 10! The clips give the style a bit of an edge, and they’re made with a special backing, so they don’t slip out and your hair stays tightly secured.
The Low Pony

My hair cuffs were made for a ponytail upgrade. Pull your hair back into a low pony, and secure it with either an Open or Closed Pill hair cuff for an easy on-the-go style. BONUS – these do double duty as bracelets, meant for stacking with other jewelry.
The Low Bun or Top Knot

A top knot or low bun with my Large Sleek Hair Pin is my signature – that’s what really launched Hair Objet. The pin is so easy to use and is a great, stylish way to tightly secure your hair without using an elastic. Choose your color to match the jewelry you’re wearing!
The Half Up/Half Down

I love a half up mini top knot – it’s one of my favorite ways to use my Small Sleek Hair Pin. If you’re feeling extra creative, use two pins!
The Club Kid

The ‘90s are my ultimate source of inspiration, and this look is a recreation of one of my signature hairstyles from my New York City club kid days – a sleek middle part, with small chain clips holding the hair back on either side.
