How it works: The equivalent of a perm for your eyelashes, the 45-minute treatment promises to lift, curl, and darken your natural set. During the procedure, a licensed technician will first measure your lashes to determine what size of silicone pad to use. The silicone pads, which come in small, medium, and large, are sticky so your lashes can adhere to them. Note: using a silicone pad that’s too big or too small may result in overcurl or no visible change, so this step is key. Next, your lashes are drenched in a perm elixir for 20 minutes, then infused with a tinted pigment. Then, a hydrating serum is applied on the lashes, which moisturizes and conditions them. You’re advised to not get them wet for 24-hours.
Results: Following the procedure, lashes are noticeably longer and darker, a look which could be attributed to a coat of black mascara. The semi-permanent treatment, which costs AED 275, lasts up to one month.
