Love mascara? Then you might be familiar with an icon called Velvet Noir by Marc Jacobs Beauty. Winning countless accolades, it’s risen to makeup fame for its ultra-volumizing formula that gives the effect of thick falsies. So, when we get wind that Marc Jacobs Beauty is releasing a new mascara, we can’t help but get excited. Dubbed At Lash’d, Marc Jacobs launched it on a private Zoom session, explaining, “Eyes are little canvases for color, shimmer, shine, and shape…it’s all in the eyes.”
With At Lash’d Marc Jacobs Beauty is looking to set a new gold standard for eyelashes, cue the undeniably chic black and gold striped packing. Focused on lengthening and curling Jacobs said, “I love a long, spidery lash. With At Lash’d, you achieve this look without fake lashes.” Joining Jacobs for the launch was Lady Gaga’s makeup artist Sarah Tanno, who said, “You can layer it, it doesn’t flake, your lashes stay soft, and the formula is vegan.”
The inspiration behind At Lash’d was to create lashes that looked like your own but better. Being a vegan formula, it contains biotin peptides and provitamin B5 that condition whilst lightweight plant waxes help to build volume. The innovative brush also plays a huge role, featuring wavy bristles that evenly coat every individual lash from the root to the tip. Arriving today across the Middle East exclusively at Sephora, it costs AED/SAR145.
