When Lady Gaga and Valentino come together, magic happens. Think back to the pink feathered gown she donned for the Venice Film Festival in 2018 or the statement blue dress she wore to the Golden Globes in 2019, both moments made fashion history. Set to take the beauty world by storm the singer has just been announced as the face for Valentino Beauty’s new Voce Viva fragrance.

The perfume which was crafted by the Maison’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli with Valentino Beauty is set to be released globally in September 2020. Alongside its launch will be the campaign drop, undoubtedly a moment we can all look forward to. Although much is yet to be revealed of the collaboration, Valentino chooses Gaga not just because of her Italian ancestry but also to represent the values of the house. Values, that the artist shares. “Be yourself, love who you are, and never give up your dreams,” alludes Lady Gaga.

Looking to celebrate and shine a spotlight on individuality and inclusivity, Lady Gaga is the perfect choice for spreading this message. Notorious for not following rules and creating her own trends, she has often stood out in Hollywood. A trait that has paid dividends with her being the only female artist to have received an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe in the same year for outstanding performance and work in A Star is Born.

“Lady Gaga means freedom, self-consciousness, pure heart. Her participation in this campaign elevates the symbolic power of the project to the highest level. She is the icon of a generation. Her message of freedom, passion for art, self-consciousness, and equality is the same our Valentino community stands for. I am so proud for having her in,” concludes Piccioli.
