Kristen Stewart isn’t one to shy away from a new hairdo. The Spencer star has chopped her hair into a buzz cut, dyed it a warm, strawberry hue, and experimented with edgy updos. We also can’t forget that she’s a role model for how to wear short haircuts in a myriad of styles. Now, the actor is trying out a new style that involves a full set of bangs.
Her bangs made their first appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The Charlie’s Angels actor arrived at the show in a white button-down shirt, an unknotted black tie hanging around her neck, and a pair of cropped black pants. Her blonde, highlighted hair was styled in a messy topknot, giving the bangs the spotlight they needed.
Unlike the rest of her hair, the short fringe is a butter-blond from root to tip. The middle section is blunt and stops about an inch or so above her dark brows, but the sides are longer and frame her face with a slight bump at the ends. Perhaps these are the tendrils that couldn’t quite fit into her updo or she was playing around with different lengths and the new fringe?
This isn’t Stewart’s first time with a fringe. At the 2021 Met Gala, she wore blonde bumper bangs. For her role as the late Princess Diana in the film Spencer, she had a pair of flipped side bangs. But this style of bangs is totally new for her. We hope she keeps them for a little while longer.
