Kim Kardashian West celebrates the announcement of her Opalescent Collection
It might not be another week until her birthday but Kim Kardashian West is celebrating her milestone 40th early with cake and a big reveal about a new beauty collection drop.
The entrepreneur and reality star revealed in glamorous fashion – she jumped out of a giant cake – that KKW Beauty will launch the Opalescent collection on her actual birthday October 21 at 10.46am, “the exact date and time I was born.”
Inspired by her birthstone, the opal, the complete Opalescent collection includes a 10-pan pressed powder palette, eight semi-matte liquid lipsticks, two lip liners in brand new vibrant shades of pink and orange, and a new opalescent gloss shade. The complete set costs $250.

Kardashian West decided to break the news to her millions of followers on social media. Looking younger than ever, the mom-of-four proved you can have your cake and eat it. She said, “Each product is housed in opalescent packaging to celebrate my birthstone, the opal. Meanwhile, the lawyer in training, who recently spoke up about her husband Kanye West’s battle with Covid-19, has donated $1 million to the Armenia Fund to help provide food, shelter, and medical care to people amid the country’s conflict with Azerbaijan. Kardashian West’s late father, Robert, was of Armenian descent and the Kardashian sisters have been vocal in their support for fund.
