Jennifer Lopez’s Hairstyle Gives Romantic Beauty Looks a Thumbs Up

With that flicky bob and feminine bows, Jennifer Lopez’s hairstyle proves that romantic beauty looks are the way to go this season.

The star first revealed her dramatic chop with a fierce wet-look style during Haute Couture week, but since then, Jennifer Lopez’s hairstyle picks have embraced a more demure vibe – and we couldn’t love it more.

Lopez’s latest Instagram snaps find her sporting a similar style to the Catherine Deneuve-inspired ’do she chose for Valentino’s spring 2024 haute couture show, only this time, the singer and actor opted for a swept-up side part and lengths full of body and bounce. Echoing her Valentino look, the side part was secured with an oversized Jennifer Behr bow (prompting her hairstylist Chris Appleton to quip “Bow Down”).

To really amp up the retro feel of Jennifer Lopez’s hairstyle, Appleton made a feature of the singer’s ends, with an exaggerated flick that rested on her shoulders. Although JLo is better known for creating rather than following trends, the effect gave the whole look more than a hint of the viral coquette movement that’s currently all over TikTok.

To complement the look, Lopez stuck to her signature honeyed palette, with her eyes and cheekbones cloaked in a golden bronze and her lips layered in a peachy toned nude lipstick. Unlike her hair, that trademark golden girl beauty look doesn’t look set to change any time soon. As for her fashion look, Lopez went with yet another striking ensemble, proving that so far, 2024 has been a stellar sartorial year for her. Her pick: an ivory jumpsuit with flared legs and a romantic corset-style bodice, layered over a black turtleneck that added an interesting contrast. For a finishing touch, JLo complemented her bronzed up makeup and honey locks with intense gold jewelry — think chunky bracelets and bangles, and a selection of statement rings, and matching hoop earrings.
