Curtain bangs are back, and Jennifer Lopez clearly got the memo. The American superstar showed off her latest hairstyle on what can only be a date night with fiancé Alex Rodriguez at the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood.
The Hustlers actor wore her hair down in an effortless style, putting her shaggy, honey-blonde waves on full display which complemented her new eye-skimming bangs. This new look is courtesy of none other than Chris Appleton, Lopez’s trusted hairstylist who has created many iconic hair moments with the star over the years. On October 13, Appleton revealed the look on his Instagram with a photo of Lopez sporting her fresh new hairdo, and captioned it, “@jlo got bangs today.”
Besides the show-stealing bangs, the 51-year-old singer’s date night style included a satin blouse and matching pants from La Pointe which she paired nude platform pumps, a blue smokey eye, and a calfskin handbag in a similar shade for a monochromatic look. Underneath the black-colored face mask, Lopez had a peach blush, and a nude lip on, which could be seen in the photos posted by Appleton and the star’s stylist.
This is not the first time this year that the singer has been spotted with curtain bangs. Last month, she showcased a much shaggier, yet equally glam version of the popular hairstyle when she debuted the music video for her song with Maluma, Pa Ti + Lonely. “Hair has such a big part of the storytelling,” Appleton had shared with Vogue following the launch of the music video. “The hairstyle enables you to believe who that person is or what situation she’s in — it was a lot of fun.”
