Irina Shayk debuted a bold new haircut for the DSquared2 front row that rendered her practically unrecognizable. The Russian supermodel traded in her trademark hip-grazing, brunette mane in favor of a choppy, chin-length bob complete with wispy, micro-bangs. Naturally, Shayk pulled the hairstyle off with aplomb, wearing it tucked behind her ears and in a saturated texture that would look equally as striking poolside at the French Riviera as it did on the front row in Milan.
The newly-transformed model elevated her new look by way of a black blazer equipped with a plunging neckline that drew further attention to her chop. Though the transformative new ‘do feels just right for summer, it seems that the former Vogue Arabia cover star didn’t reach for the shears just yet. Shortly after she unveiled her gamine-like chop, hairstylist Sam Mcknight took to his Instagram page to confirm that the look was in fact a faux hairpiece. “Where there’s a wig, there’s a way,” he wrote alongside an image of the model. Despite the fact, we can’t say we’re not inspired to hack a few inches off our hair this summer and usher in the new season in style. Even if it’s just for one night.
