Imaan Hammam demanded a double take at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book gala at St. Ann’s Warehouse in New York on Friday night. Vogue Arabia’s April cover girl eschewed the traditional red carpet gown and evoked a 1970s goddess in a white, curve-accentuating Victoria Beckham pantsuit accessorized with a Tiffany & Co. bracelet.
But it was her signature cloud of fuzzy, free-flowing spirals that ultimately stole the scene. The model, who channeled a young Whitney Houston, took to the red carpet showcasing a head of glossy ringlets and eyes lined with onyx.
Styled by New York-based celebrity hairstylist Hos Hounkpatin, all that was needed to get the model’s natural coils camera-ready was a helping of anti-frizz lotion and shine serum mixed with a little seasonal humidity.
