Huda Kattan is Expanding Her Huda Beauty Empire

Huda Kattan is having a great 2018. In the span of a mere few months, the blogger-turned-entrepreneur took on the role of executive producer to launch her own reality show, was named one of Forbes richest self-made women, and topped the Instagram Rich List for 2018, as the most lucrative influencer for the second year in a row. But leave it to the Iraqi beauty mogul to constantly one up herself. First she unveiled a new range of Demi Matte Lipsticks on National Lipstick Day (which she actually owns), then she followed up with the Matte Perfection Primer launch, and now it’s been announced that she will be releasing a debut collection of Huda Beauty fragrances to join the cosmetic brand’s line-up of lipsticks, foundations, powders, eyelashes, and eyeshadow palettes.

While there is no information on when the fragrances will be released, according to WWD, it will be collection of four perfumes. Each 100ml bottle in the collection has notes of Jasmine Sambac Absolute, Vanilla and Rose Centifolia. The new olfactory launch will be a subbrand of its own. Reportedly, the subbrand for the fragrance will have an individual brand identity and distribution than the Huda Beauty brand, and will be the first in a series of many.

The fragrance was first teased in a July episode of Huda Boss. In the episode, Huda’s younger sister Mona, who is also behind the olfactory launch, takes a trip to Grasse, France, which is engulfed in hectares and hectares of lavender, rose, and jasmine. “I love perfume. I love it so much that I have dedicated an entire room in my house to perfume,” she reveals. “I feel like this project is a special baby for us and having a brand born out of social media, it’s really important for us to capture content every step of the way.” Later, Mona took to her official Instagram page to confirm the news, writing “It’s official guys!! We’re launching our own fragrance!! Years in the making! I’ve been dying to share this with you all!”

According to WWD, the bottles will retail for AED 433.
