Take a look at Huda Kattan. What’s one of the first things you notice? For us, it’s her iconic sweep of jet black eyeliner. Rarely spotted without it, she’s perfected the winged look like no other. With so many sellout launches, from eyeshadow palettes to foundation, it’s surprising that one of her liners isn’t already a staple in our beauty bags. But Kattan is a perfectionist so of course, she’s been working on her very own eyeliner for the past three years.

Dubbed Life Liner, the new product shows that she has thought of everything. Yes, that is a liquid pen on one end and a pencil on the other. Never having found an eyeliner that was long-lasting enough, matte enough, and black enough, she set herself and her team the task of creating the ultimate all-in-one product. Living in the Middle East and jet setting across the globe, she also understood the importance of a formula that lasts. Life Liner has been developed to be life-proof. Think long-lasting, waterproof, smudge-proof, and fade-proof. Added to this, the finish is super matte and, most importantly, super black.

Firstly, the liquid liner in Very Vanta is ultra long-lasting, promising 48 hours of wear. This is due to its elastic texture, which also prevents cracking, smudging, and fading, even when wearing it in the heat and humidity of the Middle East. Gliding on with ease due to the custom soft, textured brush which Kattan perfected herself, it dries quickly. Spending three months on just the brush design, she ensured that it offered precision, meaning you can create a dramatic winged look with perfection. The pencil – also in Very Vanta – has a staying power of eight hours. It also glides on, offering slightly more time to play around with your look, before it dries down to a smudge-proof jet black. Created to be used on the water and lash line, it works with a propel system, meaning you never have to worry about sharpening.

Once you’ve dazzled the world with your liner look and it’s time to take it off, you can use Kattan’s new Makeup Remover Balm. It’s only available in limited quantities, with Kattan speeding up production to get it out on time. The gentle yet powerful formula transforms from a balm to an oil to a milky texture, which melts the liner away. Featuring cherry blossom extract, it can be used on the entire face to remove oil, dirt, and grime, leaving the skin feeling soft and conditioned. There’s only one catch, though: you’ll have to wait until September to get your hands on both products. Life Liner and Makeup Remover Balm will arrive at ShopHudaBeauty.com on September 12 and select online retailers on September 18 – get your credit cards at the ready, as we predict this to be a sellout.
