Huda Kattan has unveiled the follow-up to the perennially sold-out Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette, sending the internet into a frenzy last night. Inspired by her home city of Dubai, the new launch is titled “Desert Dusk” and it’s an ode to Arabia. Featuring a range of innovative and unique textures, the 18 shades come in vivid colors with names like “Desert Sand,” “Musk,” “Nefertiti,” and “Saffron” to illustrate the never-ending intrigue of the desert.
Following the huge success of her first palette, the Iraqi beauty blogger and business mogul explains how important it was to deliver with this product. “I knew it would be hard to follow the success of our Rose Gold Palette, so I had to replace it with something phenomenal,” she explains. “Taking on feedback and appreciation from our previous palette, we perfected the formulas to ensure the creamiest textures for the best application and wear.”

The desert-inspired collection includes eight matte shades, reformulated for a smooth, butter-like application, and six pressed pearls in plum and bronze shades, designed to create a high-shimmer when layered over a matte formula. Three duochrome toppers can be worn alone for an incandescent glow or paired with a matte formula for a scene-stealing finish. It also includes a pure glitter, which is a rich mix of magenta, bronze, and gold flecks, to create bold, look-at-me eyes when applied wet or dry.

Sleek and lightweight, the new palette will fit into the most tightly edited vanity cases and features a mirror for the beauty lovers on the go. The need-it-now palette also includes the beloved shade Angelic from the Rose Gold palette – exciting news for those who can’t get their hands on the cult product.
The news comes shortly after the Middle East’s most influential Arab woman announced plans to expand her beauty empire with a Huda Beauty Foundation, which is set to hit shelves later this year.
