When it comes to luxury fragrance, nobody does it like French Haute Parfumerie Henry Jacques. Unveiling its latest creations for Les Toupies, Fanfan and Galileo will be the final scents for the limited edition series. A rare collection of masterpieces, the beauty of the fragrances arrives both in the juice and its vessel.

Les Toupies meaning The Spinning Tops describes the flacons which always arrive as a pair. The precision of the design fell to Henry Jacques Artistic Director Christophe Tollemer to carefully critique. The brief was to create a piece that could safely hold the juices whilst also being multifaceted yet symmetrical, with no central point and yet possessing a stable axis. The result speaks for itself with its crystal bottles capturing light and reflecting it to conjure up the characters within the fragrance in a majestic way.

The first of the pair is Fanfan. Bringing lavender into the spotlight it is combined with saffron and Egyptian geranium for its opening notes. At the heart, Indian sandalwood and rose Damascenia are followed by the trail of Moroccan cedarwood, leather, and amber. The result offers a rare intensity, one that the house describes as being Parisian in nature.

It’s partner Galileo also opens with lavender and geranium this time blending it with Italian mandarin. A masculine scent, its heart offers notes of patchouli, myrrh, and benzoin before finishing with a blend of oakmoss, tobacco, and amber for a decadent finish.

Fanfan and Galileo are available in all Henry Jacques boutiques from mid-December 2019
