Not only beneficial to your health but to the environment too, Veganism is a lifestyle choice that is on the rise. With November 1st marking World Vegan Day, there’s never been a better time to put down those animal by-products and opt for something raw and of course vegan. As they slowly pop up across the city, Vogue Arabia highlights the top three eateries that offer vegan-friendly food.

Located in Galeries Lafayette Gourmet, Super Natural Kitchen is a fully raw vegan restaurant. Chef Athena Matheou’s inspirations are pulled from around the world. With a holistic approach to cooking, she brings vegan cuisine to a wider audience through dishes that make you feel as good as they look. The menu itself stays clear of any animal by-products meaning no honey and dairy and also no gluten or refined sugar and preservatives. Famed for its raw vegan cheeses, it also offers soups to pizzas and desserts to dine on, too.

Comptoir 102 has been a firm favorite on the Dubai set since its launch in 2012. Its Healthy Café in particular. Offering up both sustainable and nutritious food, its ingredients are sourced from local organic farms. Although not solely vegan, the menu features a  substantial amount of raw vegan dishes, including colorful salads and a vast array of tasty smoothies. With the menu changing daily depending on the harvest, the chefs use techniques such as pre-soaking, fermentation, steaming, and dehydration to ensure each dish is full of flavor.
