While the last year has seen an onslaught of celebrity-founded beauty brands, an intriguing new contender is on the horizon. Singers are no strangers to the beauty entrepreneur business, with everyone from Selena Gomez and Halsey, to Madonna and Jennifer Lopez, along with Rihanna’s OG Fenty Beauty, workshopping their own makeup and skincare brands.
Internet sleuths have now noticed Harry Styles has registered his own beauty-related trademarks, with the singer lodging applications for ‘wholesale of perfume and cosmetics’, as published in the publicly available UK Company Directory. Styles’ proposed beauty brand name is rather British, with ‘Pleased As Holding Limited’ identified in the filing. The Grammy Award-winner is acknowledged as the company director, with his assistant, Emma Spring, listed as co-director.

The former One-Directioner previously fronted four fragrance launches for the boy band, but this potential new launch will be a first for the solo artist. With collaborations and campaigns with luxury fashion houses like Gucci and his own penchant for eyeliner and nail art, fans may be able to expect a more elevated beauty brand from Styles, with perhaps a genderless aesthetic to match.
