Hair clips are well and truly making a come back. The ultimate accessory from the Fall 2019 runways, locks in every city were adorned with various clips and slides. At Chanel and GCDS logos were key with the former spelled out in swirling text adorned with pearls. Pretty and feminine, these were contrasted with styles like those seen at Versace where clips offered up rock and roll vibes. Either way, you’ll be wishing you had kept some clips from your school days because we’re not waiting around till Fall to jump on this trend.

Kitsch Clips at Chanel

There may have been a snow-covered runway, but what really dazzled were the hair clips placed in models locks. Sam McKnight opted for a single slide or layered up a few in different shapes and colors.

Oversized Clips at GCDS

Go big or go home was the feeling at GCDS. Syd Hayes created over the top fluorescent pink hair, finishing the look with oversized clips featuring the brand’s logo.

Floral Clips at Simone Rocha

Creating a half up and half down look, James Pecis worked with various clips and headbands at Simone Rocha. Looking to deep shades the result was glamorous with a hint of dark romance.

Metal Clips at Versace

Guido Palau created the cool-girl take on the trend. Mixing metals and jewels the textured hair offered up an ultra glam, rock and roll vibe.

A Simple Slide at Blumarine

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Paolo Soffiatti kept things simple. Working with a single black slide he created a side parting on each model pulling back the hair from the face.
