Only one thing could steal attention from Hailey Bieber’s compelling wardrobe of sexy fleeces, Bottega Veneta boots and Saint Laurent latex: her flawless complexion. The 24-year-old model’s tawny skin never looks anything less than glowing, and now she’s shared the simple steps she follows to prep it each morning before leaving the house.
A make-up free Bieber took her 30million-plus followers through her skincare routine on Instagram Stories, revealing she kicks off with a 10-minute moisturising mask (Tata Harper’s Hydrating Floral Mask is a Vogue favourite) and an under-eye mask. Once that’s been rinsed off, the model applies a peptide serum (try Medik8’s Bakuchiol Peptides) to her damp skin, followed by a moisturising serum with niacinamide (Vogue loves Glossier’s Super Pure Serum, which contains zinc and niacinamide, or La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar Ultra-Concentrated Serum), then a light layer of moisturiser. The finishing touch? An SPF, still an essential in the winter months (that goes for people who don’t live in LA, too). Sensai’s Cellular Protective Cream for Face offers SPF 30 and is a good all-rounder.
The model has told how she spent quarantine “diving so deep” into skincare, learning more about how it’s affected by what she puts into her body as well as various ways to boost and nourish it topically. “Trying to keep that glow from the inside out,” she said on Instagram. It’s definitely working.
