Even by nepo baby standards, fascination with Hailey Bieber – in particular her beauty routine – is impossibly high. It’s Hailey who had the world googling “What is glazed skin?” when she launched her Rhode line in 2022, while her “doughnut nails” for the Met Gala, developed by manicurist Zola Ganzorigt, promptly went viral. Yet while she loves styling her hair in different ways – see her Veronica Lake moment in December – Mrs Bieber has kept her ashy blonde color – and length – consistent for the last few years, with the exception of a few lowlights now and then.

Not even celebrities are immune from the allure of a “new year, new you” chop, though – as Hailey proved when she debuted a chin-grazing crop on Instagram over the weekend. “Oops,” the model captioned an image of herself posing in her walk-in.
Bobs have been en vogue for years now – and are clearly going nowhere in 2023. According to stylist Syd Hayes, there’s increased fascination with “an extremely classic Vidal Sassoon bob” among his clients at the moment: “A sharp shape, that’s striking – less about the layers and more about straight lines and angles.” And if you’re not sure whether you’re ready to take the plunge and shed your lengths? Take stylist Nai’Vasha’s advice: “My biggest tip with the bob is not to overthink it… or underestimate its power.”
