Hailey Bieber surprised fans on January 22 with her brand-new short haircut that just skims her shoulders. She first revealed the bob to her TikTok fans on January 22, and they rushed to the comments to say that Hailey Baldwin was back—a reference to when she had a blonde bob before marrying you-know-who. It looks like TikTok fans aren’t the only ones excited about the new cut because once Bieber dedicated an Instagram post to her hair on January 25, fans nearly lost their minds as they rushed to the comments to express their love for the chin-grazing bob.
Bieber shared an Instagram carousel including a few shots of the bob from different angles. The first is a side profile where her short caramel-brown hair is tucked behind her ears. The second and last picture gives an even clearer view of the blunt cut from the side. In the last flick, you can see Bieber’s darker brown roots fading into a warm medium brown. Because the blunt cut barely grazes her shoulders, it’s not the shortest hair we’ve seen the star rock.

With the flood of TikTok comments indicating that Hailey Bieber has nearly returned to her former Hailey Baldwin form, we wonder if she’s thinking about bleaching her hair a lighter blonde again. She hasn’t given any indication as to what inspired the shorter haircut (other than Margot Tenenbaum), so we will be on high alert to see what other hair changes she’s considering for 2023.
