Although it’s still impossible to achieve immortality, that hasn’t stopped Gucci Beauty from trying. Bottling the sweet fragrance of ambrosia — a mythological nectar believed to bestow immortality on those who drank this sustenance of the Greek gods — Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele and master perfumer Alberto Morillas evoke feelings of eternal magic with the latest rendition of the Gucci Bloom series: Ambrosia di Fiori.

The 21st-century definition of femininity is freedom — freedom to explore, to be authentic, to celebrate individuality. Inspired by these ideals, Gucci weaves a bouquet of florals to create a blend that is both elegant and vibrant for the next wave of cosmopolitans. Defying the traditional construct of scent with top, heart, and base notes once again, Ambrosia di Fiori warmly welcomes the wearer to the exclusive garden all at once.

The heart of the modern scent remains true to the original eau de parfum with notes of fresh Jasmine bud extract, heady tuberose, and sweet Rangoon creeper reminiscent of honeysuckle. But Ambrosia di Fiori also blossoms with complex layers of the rare Velvety Orris, the root of Iris which can be found blooming in the Tuscany countryside during May, and Damascena Rose, the most fragrant variety of rose collected in the early mornings to best savor its rich aroma.

Displayed in a bold burgundy lacquered glass bottle instead of the iconic hue of baby pink, the evolution of the perfume is apparent, while the combination of exotic flowers from the ancient world creates a powerful foundation of the brand’s next scent, capturing the essence of everlasting wonder and promise for the future.
