The beauty looks at the 76th edition of the Golden Globe awards proved to be just as captivating as the couture gowns that lit up the red carpet. Best Actress nominee Lady Gaga paired her sky-colored Valentino Couture gown with a matching powder blue hairstyle. The A Star is Born actress raked her lengths into a tight, sleek chignon secured at the crown of her head and temporarily tinged with cerulean streaks to match her fairytale gown (which was a tribute to the dress Judy Garland wore in the 1954 version of A Star is Born). When it came to the singer-turned-actor’s makeup, she opted for a dusting of holographic, silver eyeshadow, neatly-groomed brows, and a swivel of flesh-toned lipstick to complete the jaw-dropping look.
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Camilla Belle’s eyes rimmed with smokey teal eyeshadow, courtesy of Hung Vanngo and Lupita Nyong’o accessorized her violet Calvin Klein by Appointment dress with a set of fluttery, prismatic lashes. While sleek lengths found fans in the likes of Emmy Rossum and Irina Shayk, who debuted a blunt new bob, Amber Heard opted to rake her well-coiffed tresses into a voluminous, half-up style that certainly stood out. And if anyone knows how to make a statement on the red carpet, it’s Janelle Monáe who stepped out with her raven tresses twisted into two braided chignons that were neatly tucked underneath a gilded headpiece.
