Each year, Dubailand is transformed into a bustling, six-month long shopping and entertainment hub called Global Village. Different countries showcase their cultures and traditions by way of authentic clothing, food, performances and – our personal favorite – raw beauty staples free of any artificial ingredients. With the annual festival coming to a close on April 8, we bring you the best beauty products to stock up on before Global Village closes for the year – from Ghana’s acne-repelling black soap to Morocco’s cult argan oil.
What: Tea tree sheet mask
Where: Thailand Pavilion
Why: A tea-tree infused sheet mask that transforms dull, tired skin into healthy-looking skin in as little as 2o minutes. Tea tree is known as an effective anti-inflammatory rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from harmful environmental factors, and soothes tired, irritated skin. It’s especially beneficial for those with acne.

Why: In this pavilion, you will find bottles of raw argan oil straight from its native Morocco. Dubbed “liquid gold,” argan oil has a multitude of proven skin and hair-boosting benefits. Massage it over skin to smooth out wrinkles and supercharge a dull complexion, or apply to your hair as a deeply nourishing mask.
What: Aloe vera tooth gel
Where: The America’s Pavillon
Why: A fluoride-free tooth gel that promises a brighter-looking smile after just a couple of uses. Infused with aloe vera and bee propolis, the gentle formula helps protect teeth and gums, and fights plaque before it even gets a chance to set in.
What: Dead Sea mud mask
Where: Jordan Pavilion
Why: This paraben-free formula includes Dead Sea mud, which is chock-full of nourishing minerals not found elsewhere. Apply the mask once or twice a week, and rinse after 15 minutes for a visibly smoother, clearer complexion. This pavilion also has Dead Sea soap, hair masks, and other mud-infused formulas straight from the source.
