It is no secret that the world of beauty is moving in a more authentic direction. The house of Dior is taking note, supporting this message more than ever before. Announcing Gisele Bündchen as the face of its iconic Capture Totale skincare range, she will front its campaigns in 2020. Promoting a holistic approach to wellbeing, the anti-aging line features formulas that have been developed to support external beauty. An attitude Bündchen is all too familiar with, having been very open about her health-focused lifestyle in the past.

“The perfect embodiment of healthy beauty, our new spokesmodel is the icon of wellness, generated by a unique idea of healthy and purely authentic beauty,” told Claude Martinez, president and chief executive officer of Parfums Christian Dior to WWD. Martinez added, “Today, we are celebrating a supermodel glowing with health, who is an accomplished, stunningly beautiful woman, and of course, the iconic muse of conscious beauty, who joins us to convey and celebrate the house of Dior values.”

Having announced her retirement from the catwalk in 2015, bar walking the runway for the opening ceremony for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, Bündchen has since become a United Nations Environmental Program Goodwill Ambassador and New York Times Bestselling Author for her book: Lessons by Gisele Bündchen.
