This Iconic Frédéric Malle Perfume Wins the Fragrance of the Year Hall of Fame Award

For fragrance enthusiasts, Musc Ravageur from Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle is undeniably recognizable. An icon in the world of musk with amber, it blends together vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood alongside the duo for a sensual finish. Launched in 2000 and created by Maurice Roucel the juice has joined the Hall of Fame at the US Fragrance Foundation Awards 2020. A virtual awards ceremony that was hosted by author, dietitian, and model, Maye Musk it featured 25 categories that were presented by celebrities that included Cher and Lionel Richie and designers Wes Gordon and Jason Wu, among others.

Accepting the award, Frédéric Malle said he was both, ‘flattered and honored’ and ‘could not have dreamed of anything better to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Editions de Parfums’. The first blend gifted by Roucel to the collection of award-winning fragrances, Musc Ravageur has become a firm favorite. The French perfumer who is known for his contemporary style added Dans Tes Bras in 2008 to the collection. Another romantic blend this time more tender, its focus was on violet, heliotrope, sandalwood, and white musk.
