The first is a foundation, the Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation, that offers a new formula for dry skin in the same number of shades (50) as the brand’s debut, the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. Unlike its original matte counterpart, the new formula is super hydrating and contains ingredients like grape seed oil to moisturise and ease redness, making it perfect for all skin types, particularly those that are dry.
“Y’all know @badgalriri had to look out for the Fenty Beauties with dry skin! It was important for #Rihanna to develop the perfect formula to keep you fly without the dry in a flawless natural finish… AND we’re dropping 50 shades AGAIN in the same range as our original…” the brand said on Instagram. Expect a longwearing medium to full coverage that still imparts a naturally radiant, fresh finish, all in a handy travel-worthy tube.
Those who have already found their perfect shade in the original foundation will be exactly the same shade in the new one, making a switchover a breeze. Plus the brand have also launched a Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer, to be used before applying the foundation; it helps smooth over dry patches, hydrates and plumps, while adding a few hours on to its longevity. Put simply, it’s fresh skin in a flash.
