Beauty lovers, rejoice — Fenty Beauty is expanding its range of must-have makeup. On Sunday, the brand teased a new eyeshadow palette on Instagram, its second following the Galaxy Palette, which launched as part of the brand’s debut holiday collection last year. The new launch, entitled “Moroccan Spice”, is a subtle nod to the region, and features a mix of shimmer and matte shades, including copper, brown, and red, as well as gold and pearl metallics, and vivid pans of metallic blue, pink, and green.
As if that wasn’t enough, Fenty Beauty has announced that it is launching yet another major eye product in the form of a felt-tip eyeliner, dubbed “Flyliner”. Not a moment of rest for Rihanna, then, whose Savage X Fenty lingerie collection also launched just last month. The black liquid liner (which she also teased on Instagram) is called “Cuz I’m Black”, after one of her most memorable one-liners towards a Twitter user who made a racist remark about her hair back in 2011.
The new product, which comes encased in a geometric, rose gold tube, comes after the superstar graced the front row of the Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 Men’s Show during Paris Fashion Week wearing a bright, white cat-eye, leading fans to speculate that a Fenty Beauty eyeliner was in the works. The rumor mill went into further overdrive when Fenty Beauty posted a portrait of Rihanna from the show on its official Instagram page, name-checking all the brands that Global Makeup Artist Priscilla Ono used to create the look, except for the eyeliner.
The eyeliner and eyeshadow palette are the first eye makeup-focused drops since the launch of Fenty Beauty last September, which debuted with a range of all-inclusive foundations, highlighters, a universal lipgloss, and blotting paper. Both The Moroccan Spice eyeshadow palette and Flyliner eyeliner will be available online and at Sephora stores worldwide starting on July 6. Time for a bigger makeup bag? We think so.
