19 Times Elizabeth Taylor Sparkled More Than Her Own Diamonds

It wasn’t just Elizabeth Taylor’s extensive collection of diamonds that sparkled. With her infamous violet eyes, alabaster skin and raven hair, she was luminous herself. She is said to have based her entire look, including hair and makeup, around the jewelry she wore, a preference which led to an array of classic beauty looks. She loved lipstick – Elizabeth Arden being her favorite – colorful eyeshadow and bold brows, and while she worked with Italian makeup artist, Tolot, she actually enjoyed doing her own makeup. According to her one-time personal assistant, Tim Mendelson, filling in her brows and taking time to massage moisturizer into her skin were favorite parts of her routine.
