It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so, there’s no better way to celebrate than to get a little more daring with your beauty looks. Peter Philips the Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup is here to help with a collection primed with dazzling colors. Created with the new decade in mind, it is titled “Happy 2020” and features vivid shades of pinks, greens, yellows and of course gold shimmer and glitter. “2020 is a special number, a magnificent year that the house of Dior is honoring with a collection as hypnotizing as fireworks,” explains Philips of the collection.
The main focus is on the eyes. The 5 Couleurs Happy 2020 palettes are imprinted with the Happy 2020 motif making you second think dipping your brush in its pigments. The first of two, “Celebrate in Gold” focuses on gold with shades like a deep bronze and black ready for creating the perfect smoky eye. The second palette “Party in Colours” offers pink, green, gold and blue for those that are ready to get a little creative. Lipsticks arrive in precious metal cases featuring a violet, rosewood, orangey nude and bright red hue. To finish off the collection are statement nails. For the base a pearl, purple and flamboyant rouge. Topping it off a multicolored glitter makes for a dazzling manicure you’ll be wanting to show off.
