As fashion month gets into full swing, the beauty world is also having an equally exciting moment of its own, courtesy of Dior. Bringing together some of the region’s much-loved stars under one roof in Dubai, Dior Beauty celebrated its new L’Or de J’Adore fragrance last night. A late summer evening at Studio 12 saw friends of the house fête the new scent by Dior perfume creation director, Francis Kurdikjan.

In attendance was former Vogue Arabia cover star Yasmine Sabri, who arrived in a cream-colored blouse paired with a white tulle skirt from the maison. A pink monogram belt and a matching Lady Dior bag accessorized her look, while she sported soft waves and glowy makeup for her glam. Fellow Egyptian actor Salma Abu Deif also made an appearance in a dramatic black cut-out gown, which she paired with gold jewelry and a slicked-back hairdo. The star-studded guest list also featured Huda El Mufti, Tunisian model Rym Saidi, former Miss Lebanon Valerie Abou Chacra, and Jordanian artists Zeyne, Yara Mustafa, Andria Tayeh, and Noor Taher.
Memorable moments from the event included a moving performance by Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna, and later, an electrifying set played by up-and-coming Saudi DJ Nooriyah, which had the guests dancing the night away. What’s more, an immersive olfactory room at the venue invited guests to discover the fragrance like never before via paintings and sculptures. These bespoke artworks were created by renowned digital artist Refik Anadol, who was tapped by Kurdikjan to help reiterate the scent through artificial intelligence.
