Our first mandatory beauty buy? Charlotte Tilbury’s new cinema-inspired Hollywood Collection, which launches in stores globally, including at the recently-opened Middle East boutique in Kuwait (Dubai to follow in early 2018).
After four successful years helming her eponymous cosmetics brand, as well as countless years making up the likes of Kate Moss and Amal Clooney, the British makeup artist unveils three brand-new products as part of the Hollywood Collection that are sure to be a major sell out. Far from anything Tilbury’s ever rolled out, they include the Hollywood Lips liquid lipsticks, Contour Wands, and a Hollywood Complexion Brush. Read on for the product breakdown below.
The Contour Wand and Beauty Light Wand

First up is the contour wand. The innovative product features a soft, cushioned tip that releases a sheer, buildable liquid that is easy to blend— You can use the in-built cushion, a beautyBlender, or your fingertips to do this. Its counterpart is the Beauty Light Wand, a pearlescent, light-reflecting liquid highlighter to dab onto the highest points of the face for a natural, lit-from-within glow.

Next is the Hollywood Liquid Lipstick. Surprisingly, these products are Tilbury’s first foray into the liquid lipstick craze, due to her desire to roll-out the perfect formula, which won’t feel like drying paint on your lips. Featuring ten different shades, with playful names like Platinum Blonde, Screen Siren, and Rising Star, the matte formulas are probably the most comfortable liquid lipstick you will ever wear. Formulated with plumping, anti-aging ingredients like hyaluronic acid and an active ingredient called Sea Lavender SC, the lipsticks are made to create the appearance of fuller, wider lips. The product features a curved applicator, which makes it easier to apply, even without a compact in the back of an Uber.

Last but not least, is the Hollywood Complexion Brush. The dual-ended product features a dense, fluffy end meant for blending, while the smaller end is perfect for hard-to-reach spots like the corners of the nose and inner eyes.
