Chanel presented Egyptian cat-eye flicks on its Resort 2018 runway – and with its latest beauty offering released in time for summer, you can activate a fresh Chanel look now. The French house has just unveiled Lucia Pica’s first makeup collection, which harks back to one of Gabrielle Chanel’s principles that summer beauty should be effortlessly glamorous.
In Vogue Arabia’s shoot by Pelle Lannefors and long-standing Chanel makeup collaborator Toni Malt, Malt created avant garde blocks of coral and contours of bronze to push the boundaries of the collection using slicks of color from the lip palette.
The current Resort look has a strong focus on radiant, sun-kissed skin, accentuated with a classic and decidedly feminine color palette. Pica celebrates this beauty approach with a lineup of five products, including matte powders with a creamy finish, waterproof mascara to tackle the rising humidity index, and a playful palette of peach, blush, and bronze nail varnishes, lip stylos, and lipsticks.
