Get ready, Little Monsters, because Lady Gaga is reportedly going to be spicing up your makeup bags someday soon. The pop icon, who is currently winning over film critics with her turn in A Star is Born, is going to add beauty entrepreneur to her ever-growing CV, according to reports.
The Grammy winner, born Stefani Germanotta, lodged a trademark for a cosmetics company earlier this year, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Filing the trademark under Ate My Heart Inc (which is reportedly Lady Gaga’s company), the application cites Haus Beauty as the company name. The request includes a list of potential products, with categories including everything from cleansers and perfumes to eye shadows, lipsticks, and much, much more.
While the star has not directly confirmed the news, the launch of Fenty Beauty first came to light via a little internet sleuthing on the trademark office website. And, in an interview with Vogue US this month, Gaga teased that her beauty secrets were coming “soon”.
While it would be her first beauty line, Haus Beauty wouldn’t be the 32-year-old’s first foray into the industry. Gaga has created her own lipstick shades with MAC in 2009 and 2010 as part of the brand’s Viva Glam campaign, and debuted her Fame fragrance in 2012. We’ll bring you more on Haus Beauty when we have it, but in the meantime we’ll be daydreaming about the ultra-glam looks it will most likely create.
