New Bodyart Concept Allows You To Wear Regional Artwork

Temporary tattoo concept Le Inka has launched its new creator’s platform, transforming artworks by some of the Middle East’s top talent into wearable art. The online studio reimagines art in Le Inka’s plant-based and vegan temporary tattoo format, with each application lasting for two weeks before gently fading. The temporary tattoos are water-permeable, and breathable, meaning they do not create a barrier on the skin. First launched by Dubai-based husband-wife team, Ishrath Hasmin and Safa Munafer, Le Inka has become known for its regionally appropriate approach to body art, with the new artists collaboration the next step for the platform.

“Our artist program has a great diversity of artists from a wide range of nationalities across the UAE, allowing artists to bring their imagination to life in the form of a temporary tattoo,” explains co-founder Munafer. “Artists will be showcased on our website, which has international reach and shipping. People who are inspired by their designs around the world will be able to embrace these designs on their skin – this is great exposure for an artist to have their designs worn by customers across the world.” She says that the platform benefits artists by offering above standard royalties cut. “The biggest attraction about the platform is that every artist will receive up to 20 percent. royalties, a first in the region – while we take care of production, shipping, marketing and more.”

Artist Asma Al Remeithi
