Luxury retailer Bloomingdale’s is treating its beauty shoppers to an exciting new experience. Launching soon exclusively across the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar, a new beauty loyalty program named Bloomingdale’s Beauty (BB) will reward its makeup and skincare enthusiasts with “money-can’t-buy experiences and carefully curated gifts.”
Customers can expect the BB rewards program to include virtual and in-store consultation, early access to product launches, fast-track 90-minute delivery services, and a range of digital and beauty innovations from the world’s most sought-after luxury makeup, skincare, and fragrance brands.
The loyalty program offers four tiers, namely: Discoverers, Beautopians, Aficionados, and Beauty Cognoscenti, which will be allocated based on eligible spend across Bloomingdale’s beauty ranges. Discoverers (level 1) will benefit from the latest digital beauty experiences, Beautopians (level 2) will be treated to exclusive samples and vouchers, while Aficionados (level 3) and Beauty Cognoscenti (level 4) will be gifted region-specific BB boxes. Aficionados will receive one BB box every year with products from Armani, Sisley, and more, and Beauty Cognoscenti will be gifted with two luxe BB boxes every year, with products from a number of coveted brands including Yves Saint Laurent and Tata Harper, among others.
From the launch of the BB program, every online purchase will contribute to a customer’s tier. Shortly after, both in-store and online purchases will play a role in increasing the tier level, provided that customers have a registered Bloomingdale’s online account. Members also must be over 18 and residents of the UAE, Kuwait or Qatar to participate.
The first BB boxes will be available approximately three months from the program’s launch, which gives shoppers enough time to make eligible purchases online and in-store.
