It’s no secret that Bio-Oil is our go-to for scars and stretch marks. Selling a bottle every two seconds and having won more than 447 international beauty accolades over the years, it has undoubtedly reached cult status. Not ones to rush perfection, the skincare company is now releasing its latest technology, which has been three decades in the making. Turning its attention to battling dry skin, that brand has introduced Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel.

Looking at the technology used within creams, lotions and body butters already on the market, this formula swaps out the inactive water content for oil. These formulas are sometimes made with up to 70% water which evaporates on contact with skin, while the Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel traps in moisture by applying a protective layer over the dermis. Combining the new formula with 50% of the original Bio-Oil skin care oil, it is incredibly potent. Suitable for everyday application, it can be used all over the body, with a little going a long way. Just as you would expect, the gel-like texture is non-sticky with a soft rose scent synonymous with the brand.

The Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel is now available in the Middle East, starting at AED 26.50 for 50ml.
