Beyoncé‘s custom outfits for the Renaissance World Tour have continued to make headlines one sold-out show after the other. However, what’s just as remarkable is her glam for the concerts, which is especially praise-worthy when it can withstand a literal storm.

Earlier this week, the Grammy winner’s Washington DC stop of the tour faced a massive delay due to bad weather, and while she paid US $100,000 to keep the city’s metro running late for the fans, the cost for safeguarding her makeup came at a fraction of the price. After a shelter-in-place warning, the show was set back by two hours, but none of that kept the 41-year-old from performing her setlist at 100% energy levels under heavy rain. The downpour proved to be no match against her budge-free makeup, courtesy of a powerful, affordable (and of course, waterproof) setting spray. According to Beyoncé’s makeup artist Rokael Lizama, the singer owes her long-lasting face to the cult-favorite One/Size On ’Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray by Patrick Starr, which retails for $32 (AED 117). “Built for the elements,” Lizama wrote on Instagram. “Rain or Shine Bey did her thing!!!@patrickstarr I love you! Your spray helped us get through the show!”

Starr also took to TikTok to share a screenshot of his conversation with Lizama in which she sent a picture and video of Beyoncé performing in the rain with the message “OneSize spray come thru!!!” As expected, the setting spray sold out within minutes of the revelation, and is expected to remain out of stock for a while. The brand states that the waterproof formula is lightweight, non-sticky, and helps absorb excess oil from the face to keep it matte for up to 16 hours.
