In true Beyoncé fashion, the launch of her new haircare brand Cécred came with a noteworthy change in the singer’s own beauty look. After going platinum blonde to complement the disco and silver aesthetic of her last studio album Renaissance, Beyoncé introduced her new venture to the world in tandem with a fresh dye job. This time, the Grammy winner has embraced a much more wearable hair color in a warm honey hue.

The star debuted the color at an intimate launch event of Cécred in LA, where she wore her newly dyed locks in a half-up half-down hairstyle with big, glossy waves. The creative behind Beyoncé‘s new dye job is celebrity colorist Rita Hazan, who also did her platinum blonde hair, or as Hazan calls it, “frosted” and “winter white”. While Hazan is yet to coin a term for this hue, it’s safe to say it will be along the lines of “crème brûlée blonde”, which Beyoncé sported during the US leg of her Renaissance World Tour.

The singer kept the rest of her glam pretty minimal to complement the dress code of the event, which seemed to be all white. Beyoncé herself wore a white-colored outfit by Prabal Gurung, which featured a hand-pleated plisse bodysuit with a kurta blouse and dhoti pants from the designer’s Spring Summer 2024 collection. Stylist Shiona Turini completed the look with white stilettos, and sparkling diamond jewelry from De Beers.

Beyoncé was joined by her mother Tina Knowles and daughter Blue Ivy at the launch event, along with Neal Farinah, Beyoncé’s longtime hairstylist and Cécred’s lead global stylist; Taraji P. Henson, and Gabrielle Union. Cécred’s launch debuted the Foundation collection featuring eight products targeting good scalp and hair health.
