You Won’t Believe This is What Beyoncé Actually Looks Like With Dark Hair

When we think Beyoncé, we think honey blonde hair and balayage galore. Sometimes it will big and curly, sometimes it will be in a half-up half down style. At times, our Bee Hive leader will even opt to serve us with a bussdown, 36 inches, wet-n-wavy wig, but more times than not, it will like be in that signature honey blonde balayage or iconically referred to by her stans – the Balayonce. However, people on the internet are always quick to reminding us that our Queen Bee is not a one trick pony and this one discovery had us shook to the core – Beyoncé with dark hair is a vision.

A Twitter user @unapologhetto posted a viral thread of the best times Beyoncé rocked dark hair, wether it would be her natural locks or some epically installed, invisible lace fronts. After all, Bey comes from a long line of Black women who really understand hair, and color theory. The deep blonde balayage against her caramel complexion is clearly a magical combo not to be played with, but little did we know that Beyoncé and dark brown or even black hair would get us all falling off our chairs.

It’s only natural all eyes are on Beyoncé’s hair at the moment. In fact, the beehive might be the most spoilt fan club of all right now. Not only is Bey deep into the US leg of a ground-breaking, history-making world tour right now, she has also just announced (or at least strongly alluded to) a brand new venture via Instagram post back in May – hair care line.

“Beyoncé please bring dark yonce back one time for a show at the renaissance show plz!!!” says one user as they admired all the times ‘B’ gave us dark-side Sasha Fierce. Others reminded us how the dark hair actually makes her favor her first born daughter Blue Ivy.

Wether it’s for music videos, red carpet events, court-side at a NBA game, or more intimate photoshoots, Beyoncé has a roster of top tier images showcasing her dark hued hair and because we’re just not that used to seeing Beyoncé with it, it hits different, every time.

Brunettes can truly have just as much fun as blondes. Dark hair can give you depth and sultriness, (both of which Beyoncé radiates on her own accord), and compliment all complexions with rich warm tones of brown, or deep jet black hues. Dark hair, is drama, and who doesn’t love a bit of drama. Although Beyoncé is know for keeping her private life low key, there is nothing quiet and understated about her beauty looks.

Fans simply can’t help but obsess over the Black Barbie energy they’re getting from this trip down memory lane, where Beyoncé’s locks run from the warmest of browns to the most opaque of blacks. As we eagerly anticipate what hair transformation she’ll surprise Renaissance World Tour attendees with, one thing remains certain: she will definitely outdo herself.
