Bold fire-engine pouts dominated the streets this season. A swipe of crimson was all that was needed to get actress Jessica Alba and street style stars Caroline Vreeland and Chiara Ferragni front row ready.
Bangs—which first kicked off in New York when Alexander Wang sent models with freshly snipped fringes down the runway—proved to be a hit on the streets of Milan and Paris. Street style stars, including Anna del Russo and Akimoto Koezu, departed from the shaggy, surfer bangs spotted at Alexander Wang or the micro-fringes at Jeremy Scott, and instead opted for an eye-skimming set.
Fearless hair statements were the breakout trend from the season. Case in point: Yasmin Sewell’s freshly snipped coils. And she wasn’t the only one. The sea of free-spirited fuzz snapped on showgoers this season supported the idea of embracing what you’re born with.
