The stars came out for this year’s Ball of Arabia, hosted by Vogue Arabia at Raffles the Palm Dubai on December 12. Invitees to the VIP-only event shone in a spectrum of golden hues, paying homage to this year’s theme of of gold—in honor of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee—with both their Arab-designed outfits and their high-octane beauty looks.
Those on the coveted guest list included the likes of the night’s host Jessica Kahawaty, and ball co-chairs Mona Zaki, Ingie Chalhoub, and Huda and Mona Kattan. Other stand out beauty looks were spotted on Bollywood actor Nargis Fakhri, who went old Hollywood waves, Vogue Arabia’s October cover star Rawdah Mohamed, who played up her eyes with a dramatic cat eye, Dorra Zarouk, Lojain Omran, and Ruba Zarour.
Shimmering gold eyeshadow, glossy lips, gilded skin and sharp Arabian kohl liner were among the top looks for the night, delivering both an elegant nod to the precious metal theme, and acknowledging the VIP event’s celebration of 50 years of UAE heritage for the country’s Golden Jubilee.
