The Best Beauty Looks from Milan Fashion Week SS22

Milan fashion week SS22 brought a lighter mood to runway looks, with bright eye looks, nostalgic throwbacks, and touchable hair finishes. A high energy collab between Boss and Russell Athletic saw models in simplified graphic eye looks, each sporting a pop of color in a negative space or inverted wing design. Versace amped up the playful color, adding layers of vibrant greens, blues, and pinks stacked in bold strokes up to the browbone. Del Core reversed the flow, with acid lime eyeshadow blended to extend below the lower lash line in an eye-catching statement.

At Dolce & Gabbana, 90s nostalgia ruled, with models with the thinnest brows we’ve seen in recent years, paired with fawn and taupe eye looks, and a glossy brown pout. Fendi also revisited another era, with sculpted orange cheeks inspired by Studio 54, and swept up from the apples to the temples in a dramatic flush. Etro went for a statement blush too, but in a more natural peachy pink paired with a pretty rose lip stain.

Milan runways saw a continuation of natural skin finishes, models at Roberto Cavalli presenting with glass skin highlighted by high sheen cheekbones. Alberta Ferretti also let fresh skin shine, framed with grown in and brushed up full brows. Hair also went natural with fresh-from-the-shower locks at Emporio Armani and softly air-dried curls at Sportmax. Stylists at Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini created slightly windswept, touchable styles that moved with the model.
